Service Description

All products that we use and love in our lives are influenced by hardware and software and having the ability to build things is a great skill to have in your tool belt and prepares you for solving all kinds of problems. This course starts with an introduction to Raspberry Pi, teaches how to boot and ssh to pi remotely, basic linux commands and how to use vi editor. Further understanding how sensors and actuators come together to sense an environment and making things happen. The most fun however is hands-on soldering and wiring the product together. As a hands-on project, students program their raspberry pi, connect the motors and IR sensors to create a self-driving, obstacle detecting car. What's most fun? Racing these cars against each other!
